Fantastic job to this incredible restaurant. The wait staff never missed a beat. If you’re interested in yummy food, fresh bread AND the history of the shops in Amarillo, this place is a gem. As we were checking out, the staff apologized for the wait… and there was NO WAIT! She said they were short staffed so the owner was the cook. It was great. There are hat boxes from the old clothing stores displayed and if you walk back in the hallway it’s loaded with photos of what it used to look like downtown. This place is a must. You must go!!

This place immediately put me in a better mood. With its casual nostalgic feel, amazing service, and home style food it can turn any mood. The ranch is delicious. Our glasses were never empty hostess and waitresses work as a team with an upbeat mood! Bot crowded at all which I loved. The food was amazing, homemade mashed potatoes, fresh gravy, and the crust on the chicken fried steak was🤌🤌. Our family loved this spot and we will definitely be back. I already have my next order planned. Thank yall!

Stopped in Amarillo for lunch. Y'all....this food was sooooo good! One of my favorite things is trying local restaurants when we travel. This place has been in business for 28 years. Laura was our waitress and was lovely. We enjoyed talking with Scott and he was kind and gave us an order form for pies and bread. Homemade yeast rolls that were beyond delicious. I had the chicken fried steak (no, I didn't finish it) and my husband had the breaded pork chops (he finished the pork chops but not the mashed potatoes). Also...those potatoes and gravy from scratch. Taters, precious!! Looking for excuses to drive this way again.

Café Marizon, what a great find for us, first time here and the experience went beyond expectations, food is very tasty and portions are just right (not too big and definately not small), the dessert (coconut pie) is really good. Our waiter Laura is very attentive and gets you taken care of for sure. Building is very clean and well kept, please give this place a try.

If you are tired of the same chain restaurant food, you must try this place! My wife and I came because of the exceptional salad ingredients, and believe me, I called around to at least three restaurants, and none of them had certain items in it like this place. I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich with the dinner salad on top of that an awesome blue cheese dressing. The chef salad is to die for served with a sliced baked roll. The service is just fantastic from the time you walk in until the time you walk out. The food has some fair prices, and to mention the deserts... buttermilk pie and peach cobbler are just the tip of some extremely great homemade deserts. The whole staff, friendly, professional, attentive, and downright, the best people we have had the pleasure to meet. If you like really good food at a decent price and not the regular chain restaurant, same ol' same ol' try this place. Tell them Roman Reigns sent you, just joking (inside joke).
